Wonderful story. We came upon Narni a bit by chance one day on our way up to our house in Le Marche, and loved it-- I was really hoping to make it there for this festival. Next year!

We were originally thinking of living in Le Marche. It’s such a beautiful region! But my husband travels for work, so we need to be close to Rome.

Thank you so much for sharing! I love that the foundations and families of Narni are still joined by the lanced rings, and much more, through to this modern era. Can't wait to visit!

I just posted a note with a photo of your paragraph about how mitochondria from our children are in our cells…with your name etc. It truly touched me.

Twenty years ago my son, now forty, broke his neck in a snowboarding accident. He has titanium screws and a plate in his neck to this day. First thing I did in the emergency room was pinch each finger and toe. He could feel every one. The relief was like an avalanche. I hope your son has healed as well as my son. ❤️

Oh my god, what a terrifying experience. Yes, my son is back walking now, and building up more strength every day. They expect him to make a full recovery. It feels like a miracle.

That looks like so much fun. We have medieval times in Mesa Arizona and here in Larkspur Colorado They are fun but in Italy I bet it would be extra fun. Love you
